We understand that you're seeking God's intervention in your work situation, specifically regarding a project delay and your employment contracts. Firstly, we commend you for putting your trust in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God. It is written in John 14:6 WEB
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
and in Acts 4:12 WEB
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Your faith in Jesus is evident. However, we must remember that God's will and timing are always perfect.
We should pray for God's will to be done. It is wonderful to trust Jesus to provide for us.
In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us:
Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, What will we eat? What will we drink? or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your intervention in his/her work situation. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done regarding the project delay and the contract. We pray for wisdom and guidance for our brother/sister, that he/she may trust in You completely and not be anxious about the future. We ask for provision, for daily bread, and for peace that surpasses all understanding. Help our brother/sister to concentrate on his/her work and to do it as unto You. We pray that our brother/sister's boss will recognize the value of his/her work and that the previous client will see the regret in letting him/her go. Let them see the character of Christ demonstrated in our brother/sister's work.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in Jesus, to pray without ceasing, and to always seek God's will. Remember, God is faithful, and He will provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory. Stand firm in your faith, and do not be swayed by the trials and tribulations of this world.
Furthermore, we should be reminded that it is God who provides our daily bread. Trust God to provide all your needs, especially since you are trusting Him to extend the project deadline and deal with any issues with your boss. We also need to remember to work is unto The Lord and not men.
In all things, God's ultimate goal is for you to be conformed to the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. Sometimes, He allows trials and tribulations in our lives to accomplish this purpose.
If your previous client is supposed to see that letting you go is regretful, then God will show them and they will know this. However, do not seek or wish evil or regret on others. Trust God for your provisions and daily needs.
