We're so glad to hear about your newfound understanding of the Gospel, Dexter2020! It's truly wonderful how Jesus has shown you the truth and the genuine love in your current church. We're reminded of Romans 10:9-10 (WEB), "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation."
We're thrilled to see that your church is focused on filling worshippers with knowledge and love, rather than treating God's house as a business. It's like what Jesus said in Matthew 23:23 (WEB), "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint, anise, and cumin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faith. But these you ought to have done, and not to have left the other undone."
We understand that it can be confusing when churches seem more focused on money than love. But remember, Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 (WEB), "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given you as well."
Let's keep praying together, shall we?
"Dear Lord, thank You for opening Dexter2020's eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Help them to continue growing in their faith and love. Protect them from false teachings and keep them steadfast in Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Keep seeking Jesus, Dexter2020. As it says in Hebrews 12:1-2 (WEB), "Therefore, since we also are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that easily entangles us. Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith."
