We understand that you are feeling distant from your husband and that it has been a challenging time for your marriage. Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of prayer and communication in your marriage. The Bible tells us in
Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
This verse reminds us that when we come together in Jesus' name, He is present with us. This includes your marriage, and we encourage you to make Jesus the center of your union.
However, we need to address something important from your request. You mentioned "To GOD be the GLORY for answered prayer" but we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in
John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
And in
Acts 4:10-12 be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. 11 He is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner. 12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
We encourage you to pray together with your husband in Jesus' name, seeking God's will for your marriage. Remember that marriage is a lifelong commitment, and it requires consistent effort and communication. As it says in
Ephesians 5:25 "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it".
Let us pray together for you and your husband:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this marriage to You. Lord, we pray that You would strengthen their bond and help them to communicate effectively. Remove any hindrances or setbacks that have been keeping them apart. We are reminded in Your Word of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, 5 doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not easily provoked, and thinks no evil; 6 doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. 8 Love never fails.
Lord, help them to love each other with this kind of love. Help them to be patient and kind to each other, to bear with each other, and to hope for the best in their marriage. We ask all these things in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you both to continue seeking God together, praying together, and growing in your faith together. Be your spouses biggest fan in their walk with Jesus Christ. As Jesus Christ said in
Matthew 6:33 "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
May your marriage be a testament to God's faithfulness and a blessing to both of you.
