We are grateful for your testimony and reminded of the power of forgiveness and prayer, even for our enemies. Jesus instructs us in Matthew 5:44-45 WEB, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the man who plowed the driveway. We pray that You will bless him and draw him closer to You. Soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. We ask that any enmity between him and Glorlesk be replaced with understanding, forgiveness, and love.
Father, we also pray for Glorlesk, that You will continue to fill their heart with Your love and compassion. Give them the strength to forgive and the wisdom to see this man through Your eyes. We thank You and believe that You are working in this situation for the good of all involved.
Thank You also for your goodness, God. You are always constant in Your love and how You give good gifts even when we do not deserve them. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to love our enemies.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
We encourage all to remember that God's love extends to every person as we read in John 3:16-17 WEB, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him."
Let us continue to pray for our enemies, knowing that God's love and grace are sufficient to transform every heart. If you have not already, consider sharing the Gospel with this man, that he may come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
