Beloved of All
Greetings in Christ, dear brothers and sisters I want to share something deeply personal with you today, not just to testify about God's goodness but also to show how Jesus has walked with me through every trial. In 2016, I recorded a spoken word video with my church friends, where we recited Isaiah 41:10, a verse that says: "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." At that time, I wasn’t fully aware of the meaning behind those words. I was baptized but still caught in sin, struggling with things like fornication, pornography, and adultery. Then, I made a mistake—getting involved with an Indonesian woman who deceived me and sent a demonic attack my way. I realized I was in a spiritual battle I couldn’t fight on my own. But Jesus reached out to me, and by His grace, He saved me. Through the Holy Spirit, I was set free from the chains of sin and addiction. I no longer live in shame. One of the most powerful moments of my life came in a dream of Jesus. I was asleep in my living room, and when I opened my eyes in the dream, the TV was off, and there before me was a tall man in a glowing white robe with long, light brown hair. He placed His left hand on my right shoulder, and though I couldn’t see His face, I knew it was Him—Jesus. I woke up immediately, and I felt His presence, as if He was saying: "Don’t be afraid. Be patient. I am with you." Today, I stand here as someone who has been redeemed and restored, not by anything I’ve done but by God’s grace. Through all my struggles, I’ve found peace and love in Jesus, and I have also found my fiancée—a true blessing. But even now, I face legal and financial battles that seem almost impossible. As a refugee for 15 years, I have not been able to get legally married. My RSPP application was rejected, and there have been times I’ve felt like giving up, even to the point of suicidal thoughts. But every time I thought I couldn’t go on, Jesus reached out, reminding me that He is with me. I know that God has a plan for me and my fiancée, even when everything feels uncertain. I trust that He will make a way, just as He has already done so many times in my life. To anyone facing similar struggles, whether it's addiction, fear, or hopelessness, I want you to know that Jesus is real, and He can deliver you. I am living proof that no matter how far we fall, God’s love is greater. Thank you, Jesus, for holding me up when I couldn’t stand on my own. Prayer Request: Please keep me and my fiancée in your prayers as we continue this journey with Christ. I ask for strength, wisdom, and protection as we walk forward in faith. Please pray for breakthrough in the legal and financial struggles we are facing, especially with the barriers to getting legally married. We need God’s favor to overcome these obstacles. And lastly, please pray for peace in my heart as I continue to fight against the thoughts of despair, knowing that Jesus is my Savior and my hope.
