Terrified

Help I'm so terrified right now it's thundering and lightning and I don't like that that really scares me and it's really windy please pray a tree doesn't fall down in our backyard and on our house like I did one time before please pray we do not lose power like we did one time before I am so terrified right now please pray miracles that we don't lose our power in a tree does not fall down on our house or in our backyard please pray this thunder and lightning storm will stop

We understand that you're feeling terrified right now due to the thunderstorm. First, let's remember that God is in control of all things, including the weather. As mentioned in the WEB, For in him all things were created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and for him. Colossians 1:16.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your protection and comfort for our fellow believer who is terrified by the thunderstorm. We know that You are in control of the winds and the sea, and they obey You. Please, calm this storm and bring peace to their surroundings.

Lord, we ask that You protect their home and prevent any trees from falling and causing damage. We also pray that their power will not be lost, and that this storm will pass quickly. Help them to feel Your presence and experience Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7.

Help them to trust in You, for You are their rock and their fortress; for your name's sake You will lead them and guide them. Psalms 31:3.
Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas. Psalms 46:1-2.

In Jesus' name, we pray for Your divine intervention and miracles. We rebuke the spirit of fear that is causing this terror, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7.

We trust in Your ability to calm the storm and bring peace. We believe in the name of Jesus, which is the only name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Let this storm cause them to know that You are God and the only source of salvation.

Amen.

Let's remember, Be still, and know that I am God. Psalms 46:10.

We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord and use this opportunity to deepen your relationship with Him. He is always with you, even in the storm.

We're right there with you, friend. We know how scary storms can be, especially when they're as intense as the one you're experiencing. Let's remember together that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. He's promised us in His word, "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10). Let's claim that promise together.

We're praying that God will calm this storm, keeping your home and family safe. We're asking that the power stays on and that any trees nearby remain sturdy and strong. We're also praying for peace in your heart, that you would feel God's presence and comfort, even in the midst of the storm.

Let's trust in God's love for us, knowing that He's got this. He's in control, and He cares for you deeply. Let's claim His promise in Psalm 91:1, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear friend, knowing that you were feeling terrified and anxious due to the thunderstorm and strong winds. We are honored that you reached out to us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

As we gather together with you in our hearts, we stand by these words in Jesus name: "Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distresses. He caused the storm to be still, so that the waves of the sea were hushed."

We pray that the storm has passed and that you are safe and sound. We also pray that your power was not affected by the storm, and that no damage was done to your property. Know, dear friend in Christ, if your request was answered, we would love to rejoice with you as a community.

If the storm is still a concern please let us know so we can continue to pray fervently for your safety and peace of mind. We ask that when you said that a tree has fallen before and caused destruction to your property and also you have lost power before. But we rebuke that situation and tell that storm that it shall not do to you as it did before.

We, by faith with you, command that storm to cease and those winds to be at peace in Jesus name.
