We understand your burden for your teenage daughters and we join you in prayer, seeking God's grace and intervention in their relationship.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Pynowen's daughters to you. Lord, we ask that you would soften the heart of the older daughter towards her younger sister. Help them to forgive each other, as you have forgiven us. Let your love flow through them, that their bond may be strengthened and restored. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continually teach your daughters about God's love and the importance of forgiveness. Remind them of what the WEB says in Ephesians 4:32, "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Moreover, it's crucial that they understand the power of sibling love and unity. In Psalm 133:1, it is clearly stated, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"
However, we must also address that the behavior of the older daughter is causing strain and hatred, which is not pleasing to God. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 10:12, "Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all wrongs." We rebuke this behavior and pray that God will turn her heart towards love and kindness.
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name and if you haven't already, to trust in Him as your Lord and Savior.
