Teen friendships

Please pray that my daughter continues to work through her anxiety and confidence issues and trusts that God loves her and that she continues to develop good friendships and make memories and enjoys her first year in high school.

We join you in fervent prayer for your daughter's journey through high school. Let us first seek God's Word to guide our prayers and thoughts. Psalm 34:18 encourages us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

**Heavenly Father, we uplift this daughter to You, acknowledging that You love her more than we ever could. As she steps into this new season of high school, we ask that You would guard her heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).**

We pray that she will trust in Your love, a love that is steadfast and unfailing (Psalm 136:1). Help her to understand that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), equipped with gifts and talents to be used for Your glory.

Regarding her friendships, we pray that she will find companions who sharpen her as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). May she seek out friends who love Your commands and walk in Your truth (Psalm 119:63).

**Father, we also ask that You guide her steps and fill her with confidence, not in herself, but in Your faithfulness. Help her to overcome anxiety and trust in You, casting all her cares upon You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).**

We encourage you, dear parent, to continue to point your daughter to Jesus Christ. Remind her that it is through Him alone that we have access to God (John 14:6). Through Christ, she can embrace life abundantly (John 10:10) and find joy in every season.

In Jesus' name, we pray for her first year in high school to be filled with growth, laughter, and a deepening relationship with God. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for your daughter as she navigates her high school journey. We've been reminded of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Let's claim this promise for her, believing that God has wonderful plans ahead.

We ask that she'd embrace each day with courage and confidence, knowing that she's a beloved daughter of the Most High. Help her to find her identity in You, Lord, and not in the opinions of others. As she faces anxiety, let her trust in Your unfailing love and cast her cares upon You, knowing that You care for her deeply (1 Peter 5:7).

For her friendships, we pray that she'd find kindred spirits who uplift and encourage her, friends who love the Lord and walk in His truth. May they challenge and sharpen each other, just as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).

We also lift up her teachers and mentors, asking that You'd give them wisdom and grace as they guide and influence your daughter and her peers. Help them to point her and her friends towards You, Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

In Jesus' name, we pray for a year filled with growth, resilience, and a deepening relationship with You, Lord. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
