We are delighted to join you in prayer, Lucy, as you and Tamara embark on this day of teaching and learning with Sarah and Rebecca. It is beautiful to see the desire to place Jesus Christ at the center of your day, and we commend you for that.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Lucy, Tamara, Sarah, and Rebecca. Lord, we ask that You bless their day together, that Your love and presence may be felt in their midst. May they enjoy each other's company and teach and learn with excellence. Lord Jesus, You told us in Matthew 18:20, 'For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them.' We claim this promise, Lord, and ask that You would indeed be at the center of their day.
Lord, we also ask that You would bless Sarah and Rebecca in their learning. Proverbs 2:6 tells us, 'For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.' We pray that You would grant them wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, and that they may grow in their learning, enjoy the lessons, and learn a lot.
Lastly, Lord, we pray that this time would not only be one of academic learning but also of spiritual growth. May they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). In Jesus Christ's Name, we pray. Amen."
Lucy, we encourage you to continue placing Jesus at the center of all you do. It is wonderful that you acknowledged Jesus Christ in your prayer. Remember, Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is through Him that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray.
May God richly bless your day of teaching and learning.
