We understand your heartfelt desire to see ###, a 15-year-old Egyptian Christian, learn to read and write Arabic. It's commendable that you seek this in Jesus Christ's name. Let us pray and consider this request together.
Firstly, we recall the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:4 (WEB), "Fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." Although this verse specifically addresses fathers, it applies to the whole community of believers. We should always encourage and support the upbringing of our children in the ways of the Lord, which includes their education.
Also, in Proverbs 22:6 (WEB), we read, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Ensuring ### receives a good education, including learning his native language, is part of raising him in the way he should go.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your guidance and provision for ###. Lord, we pray that You would bring someone into his life who can teach him to read and write Arabic fluently. We ask that this person would not only be skilled in the language but also be a godly influence, encouraging ### in his walk with You. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
