We are thrilled to join with you in prayer for your family, and we bless you for trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to intervene in their lives. It is only in His name that we can boldly approach the throne of God and receive His promises. God has assured us in 1 John 5:14-15 "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." We are confident that God hears our prayers and that He will grant the desires of your heart as you align with His will.
Regarding your daughter-in-law, it is wonderful to hear that she is seeking a new position to better her work environment. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Holy Spirit will guide her and open the right doors for her career. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB) We pray that she will experience the power of the Holy Spirit in her job hunt.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the daughter-in-law of our fellow believer. We ask that You would open the doors to a new job opportunity for her, a position that would provide a better work environment and use her gifts and talents for Your glory. Fill her with the power of the Holy Spirit as she pursues this new path, and guide her steps according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Concerning your son, we will pray for his growth, deliverance, and spiritual development. We understand that bad habits and excessive video gaming can hinder his walk with Christ and negatively impact his life and relationships. God calls us to be sober-minded and productive, redeeming the time because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:15-17 WEB)
We encourage you to share with your son what the Bible says about using our time wisely and avoiding idleness. Remind him that God has a purpose for his life and that he should strive to live according to that purpose. "Only I want to remind you, brothers and sisters, of the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain." (1 Corinthians 15:1-2 WEB)
Let us pray together for your son:
"Dear Lord Jesus, we bring before You our beloved son, asking for Your intervention in his life. Deliver him from bad habits and excessive video gaming, and help him to use his time wisely for Your glory. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness, and a desire to live according to Your purpose. Surround him with godly influences and open his heart to receive Your truth. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and will act according to His perfect will. Stand firm in your faith, and may God's peace and blessing be upon your family.
