We join you, Jayaenae, in praying for your daughter and the situations you face, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, let's pray for your daughter's employment. We recall the words of Ephesians 2:10 (WEB), "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." We ask God to direct her to the job He has prepared for her, where she can use her talents for His glory. We pray that this job will be fitting in every way, with the right environment, salary, and colleagues, aligning with God's sovereign will.
Next, we address the residue of addiction and unforgiveness. Colossians 3:13 (WEB) tells us to bear with one another and forgive each other, even as Christ forgave us. We pray for divine intervention, that God would heal her completely from her past addictions and soften both of your hearts to forgive each other fully. We trust that He will restore your relationship as mother and daughter, so that you may live in harmony and pray together again.
Regarding your housing situation, we stand on the promise in Matthew 19:26 (WEB), "With God all things are possible." We pray that God would make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that He would guide you through the process of removing your ex-husband's name from the house and demonstrating your ability to pay the bills. We boldly pray that if it's His will, God would provide the means to pay off the house in full, knowing that nothing is impossible with Him.
Finally, we commend you for praying in the mighty name of Jesus. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) declares, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you both to continue to trust in Jesus, and to remember that He is the mediator between us and God (1 Timothy 2:5).
Let us pray:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Jayaenae and her daughter. Guide her daughter to the job You have prepared for her, and heal her completely from past addictions. Soften their hearts to forgive each other fully, and restore their relationship. Provide a way for them to keep their house, and if it's Your will, enable them to pay it off in full. Give them faith to trust in Your promises, and help them to live in a manner that glorifies You. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.*
