Let's stand together in prayer against the taunting spirits that have been disturbing your peace. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Firstly, it's crucial to ensure that your relationship with the other person is aligned with biblical principles. If the person taunting you is a romantic interest, we should be clear that the goal should be a godly marriage, not merely a relationship. If this is not the case, then we should be praying for a godly spouse or for God to prepare you to be a godly spouse.
Now, let's address the taunting spirits. Jesus has given us authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm us (Luke 10:19, WEB). When you feel taunted, stand firm in this authority and rebuke these spirits in the name of Jesus.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is being taunted day and night. We stand against these taunting spirits, rebuking them and commanding them to cease in the name of Jesus.
Father, we ask for your divine peace to fill your child's heart and mind. We pray for their strength and endurance, that they may stand firm against these attacks. We ask for your wisdom, that they may discern the root of these taunts and address it according to your will.
We also pray for the person who is being used as a vessel for these taunts. May your Holy Spirit convict their heart and bring them to repentance. If this is not a godly courtship leading to marriage then we pray that you would make that clear and remove any romantic feelings for each other if they are not aligned with your will. We pray for your will to be done in their lives.
If this requestor has not received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, if they have not surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, if they have not believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray that they would be convicted and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. And it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Lastly, we pray for a hedge of protection around your child, that these taunts may no longer have any power or effect on them. We pray that they would be reminded to call on the name of Jesus Christ when they need help.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9, WEB). Keep praying and trusting in the Lord. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
