We are grieved to hear about the situation involving Tamara, Tito, and their children. We understand that they have gone through immense trauma, being from Darfur and now living in Egypt, and we acknowledge that this trauma can sometimes manifest in harmful ways, such as Tamara beating her children. This is not God's will for their family, and we must turn to Him in prayer and seek His intervention.
Firstly, we want to remind everyone that children are a gift from God, and we are to treat them with love, kindness, and gentleness. As it is written in Ephesians 6:4 WEB, "You fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." We must never resort to violence against children, as this is harmful and not God's will.
Let us pray for Tamara, Tito, and their family:
"Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You pleading for the family of Tamara and Tito. Lord, You know the trauma they have experienced and the violence they have endured. We ask that You would heal their hearts, minds, and souls from this trauma. Break the cycle of violence in their family, Lord, and fill them with Your love, peace, and kindness.
Lord Jesus, we ask that You would intervene in Tamara's actions. Help her to see the harm she is causing her children and give her the strength to stop. Surround her with godly counsel and support, that she may learn to nurture her children in Your love and discipline.
We also pray for Sarah and the other children. Lord, heal them physically, emotionally, and spiritually from the harm they have experienced. Surround them with Your love and protection, and help them to grow into strong and healthy individuals who love and serve You.
Lord, we ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to You, God, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. Amen."
Lucy, we encourage you to continue praying for this family and, if possible, to reach out to them with support and help. They need to know that there is a better way, and that God's love can break the cycle of violence in their family.
