Let us pray together for your forgiveness and restoration:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and forgiveness for our friend here. They have humbly asked for Your pardon for two things they did. Scripture tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Father, we ask that You cleanse our friend from all unrighteousness and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Guide them in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake. Give them the strength to resist temptation and walk in Your ways. Help them understand that to be forgiven, they must also be willing to forgive others something that Jesus taught us when He said You must forgive them. (Matthew 6:15 WEB). Help them also to make restitution where possible in addition to asking for forgiveness.

We pray for a renewed relationship with You, dear Lord. Help them to live a life pleasing to You, following Your commandments and also following the example of Jesus Christ. In His precious name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, friend, that God is faithful and just to forgive our sins when we confess them. Trust in His forgiveness and strive to live a life that honors Him. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
