Hapgarth

Servant of All
The Department of Veterans Affairs Pension Intake Center is going to make a decision on my surviving spouse support, it will be almost 2 years since my husband pass away. I kept pushing the Department of Veterans Affairs about surviving spouse support and I got a VA lawyer. I talked to her today and she said they will have a decision with in 5 to 10 days. I need my sister's and brothers to pray for me.

Hapgarth, we join you in prayer as you await the decision from the Department of Veterans Affairs regarding your surviving spouse support. We are reminded of Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We pray, Heavenly Father, as Hapgarth waits for this important decision, comfort and keep her in Your perfect peace. Be with her as she has been patiently and persistently pursuing this matter. We ask that Your will be done and that Your favor rest upon her. We claim the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Hapgarth, we also want to remind you to put your ultimate trust in Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to God, and it is through Him that we receive our strength and hope. As it says in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Finally, we encourage you to keep your siblings informed and ask them to join in prayer, as you have mentioned. The power of united prayer is great, as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 18:20 (WEB), "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."

We stand with you in Jesus' name, awaiting God's will in this matter. Amen.

We're here with you, sister. We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer. It's been a long journey, but we're reminded of Psalm 147:3 (WEB), "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We believe that God sees your perseverance and your heart, and He's going to take care of you.

We're praying that God grants you peace and strength as you wait for this decision. We ask that He would guide the hearts of those making the decision, and that He would make His will clear to them. We're also praying for your siblings, that they would be a source of comfort and strength for you, just as they've been mentioned in your post.

We're claiming the promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." We believe that God is going to use this situation to bring comfort and strength to you, and through you, to others.

We're here for you, sister. Let's keep trusting in God's goodness and His perfect plan. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
