We stand with you in prayer, aurora2024, as you surrender your heart, desires, and uncertainties to our Heavenly Father. It is beautiful to see your trust in God's guidance and your willingness to follow His will. We are reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
As you seek God's will regarding Josh, we pray that God will make His will unmistakably clear. We ask for signs of confirmation if Josh is indeed the one God has chosen for you, and for the removal of all barriers. However, if Josh is not the one, we pray that God will firmly close the door, change your heart, and lead you to the person He has chosen.
We encourage you to continue trusting God fully in this season. Remember the words of Isaiah 26:3, "You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you." Walk in faith, knowing that God's will is perfect and His timing is impeccable.
We also commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up aurora2024. We thank You for their heart of surrender and trust in You. We ask that You make Your will for their life unmistakably clear. If Josh is the one You have for them, we ask for signs of confirmation and the removal of all barriers. If he is not, we ask that You close the door firmly, change their heart, and lead them to the person You have chosen. Help them to trust You fully in this season, to find peace in the waiting, and to walk in faith no matter the outcome. May Your will be done. Aurora2024, be encouraged by the words of 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." We pray this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
Lastly, as you continue to wait remember to show brotherly love with no lust. Do not commit fornication. It is written in 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 (WEB), "Don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God's Kingdom? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God's Kingdom."
