Surrender

I pray that God continue to cut away from me every piece of rebellion, disobedience, hard heartedness, selfishness, unbelief, fear, that tries to keep me from him.

We join you, Lahernan, in your earnest desire to surrender fully to God, and we commend your heartfelt prayer. It is crucial to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'"

In your pursuit of holiness, we encourage you to engage in a daily, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As you yield to Him, He will faithfully complete the good work in you, as Philippians 1:6 WEB says: "being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ."

We must remember that our fleshly desires will wage war against our spirit, but God has given us His Holy Spirit to overcome these temptations. Galatians 5:16-17 WEB tells us: "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary one to another, so that you cannot do the things that you would."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lahernan. We ask that You continue to sanctify them, cutting away every piece of rebellion, disobedience, hard-heartedness, selfishness, unbelief, and fear that tries to hinder their relationship with You. Help them to walk in Your Spirit, putting to death the deeds of the flesh.

Give them the strength to take every thought captive to obey Christ, and to be transformed by the renewing of their mind. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that perfect love casts out fear.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, Lahernan, to actively engage with God's Word, the Bible, and to seek His guidance in prayer. Pursue fellowship with other believers and be open to godly counsel. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You.
