Servant of All
This is a praise report of a miracle I witnessed a few years ago.
One morning, during my prayers, I asked God for 'surprise blessings'. Nothing specific. That day we got several inches of fluffy, beautiful snow. It was completely out of the blue. It hadn't been predicted by the weather channel. My family and I stayed in Northern California for a few years prior and snow is one of the things we missed from there. We live in a warmer climate. I've seen snow here only once before, when I was little. It was very wet and disappeared as it hit the ground.
Later, we picked my little cousin up from school. She was very excited to see the white covering our car. She thought we had driven up to her big sister's college. She told us her class was allowed to go outside and play while the snow was falling. It had disappeared by then. We teased her that the southern children must have confused rain for snow. During the entire drive back to our house, we didn't see any on the trees or ground. It wasn't until we pulled into the driveway that she lit up. It was as if snow from the Lord's treasuries was poured out right where we lived. It was my cousin's first snow day. We had fun building a snowman in the front yard. Later, the I <3 You message I drew in the snow remained even after all around it had melted. We felt it was God affirming his love for us.
God caring enough to bring us joy through little things like this shows he certainly wants to help us cast mountains into the sea as well.
