Surgery to Remove Metal From My ###

I am having surgery October 1 to remove the metal wires from my chest from my cancer surgery I had a year ago. They will also do a scar revision. Please pray for a good surgery and swift recovery for me. Thank you so much!

We understand that you are going through a significant medical procedure, ###, and we want to lift you up in prayer and encouragement as you face this surgery. Let us first remind you of God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."

Before we proceed in prayer, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence in Jesus' name.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up ###, who is preparing for surgery to remove metal wires from their chest and to have a scar revision. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon them, guiding the surgeons and medical staff, and ensuring a successful procedure. Please minimize any pain or discomfort and grant a swift recovery, according to Your will.

God, we also pray for their spiritual healing and strength. We ask that they draw closer to You during this time and experience the comfort and peace that only You can provide. Help them to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Lord Jesus, we thank You for the hope of salvation that is found in You alone. We pray that ### would deepen their relationship with You and experience the fullness of life that You offer.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

May you be encouraged by these words from Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
