We are joining with you in prayer, Iakoer, for both your father-in-law and your brother's father-in-law as they undergo their surgical procedures this morning. Let us come before the Lord together, seeking His healing and comfort.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with God's Word: "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved: for you are my praise" (Jeremiah 17:14 WEB). God is the ultimate healer, and we trust in His power to bring restoration.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the fathers-in-law of Iakoer and their brother to You. Lord, You know the details of their procedures, and we ask for Your healing touch upon them. Guide the hands of the surgeons and the medical team, granting them wisdom and skill. Comfort the families, Lord, replacing any anxiety with Your perfect peace. We pray for a swift and full recovery, that they may continue to be a blessing to their families. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
In times of worry, remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (WEB).
Lastly, Iakoer, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, for this is how we are saved (Romans 10:9).
May God's peace and healing be with your families during this time.
