Thank you for bringing this important request to our attention. We stand with you in prayer for your father's upcoming surgery and for the journey ahead.
Firstly, we acknowledge the power and importance of praying in Jesus' name, as it is the only name by which we can be saved, heal and prosper. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother's father as he prepares for his hiatal hernia surgery. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power.
We pray for the medical team, especially the surgeon, that their hands may be steady and precise. Give them wisdom, skill, and excellence as they perform the surgery. Guide them so that they may know exactly what to do and do it very well.
Father, we also lift up our brother's father, who is elderly and facing multiple health issues. We pray for Your healing touch upon his body, especially his mind. If there is any dementia, we pray for clarity and peace. Calm his fears and anxieties, Lord, and fill him with Your comfort and strength. Help him to trust in You.
We also pray for his son who will be driving him to the hospital. Lord, give him the ability to be favored of the medical staff and guide him as he supports his father.
Father, we pray for a successful surgery, with no complications, and a quick recovery. We ask for patience, endurance and strength for the father and the family during this time.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful. As it is written in Psalm 28:7 WEB:
"Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him."
Lastly, we also pray for you, that God may strengthen you and give you peace during this time. Continue to trust in Jesus we pray.
