Surgeon forcing us to do something we don't wish to

Lord Jesus, my husband is currently in hospital and his surgeon is forcing us to do something not needed. We implore you to make him see the rationale in it and make him change his mind and stop forcing us to do it. We pray for this miracle in Jesus name. Amen

Westand with you in prayer, dear anonymous, as you navigate this challenging situation. We first want to assure you that God is sovereign, and He cares about every detail of our lives, including this trying time with your husband's health and the surgeon's pressures.

Let's remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We pray in agreement with you:

"Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our sister and her husband. We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. Please give the surgeon a discerning heart and clear mind to understand what is truly best for the patient. We pray that You would soften his heart, Lord, and guide him according to Your will. Provide wisdom and strength to our sister and her husband, and let Your peace rule in their hearts. We ask for a miraculous change of mind for the surgeon, and we trust that You are able to do abundantly more than all that we ask or think, according to the power that is at work within us. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage you to continue being assertive yet respectful in communicating with the surgeon. Remind him of your husband's rights as a patient, and express your concerns clearly and calmly. Remember, Proverbs 15:1 (WEB) tells us, "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."

Furthermore, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we find salvation and hope. As the Scriptures remind us in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"

Stand firm in faith, and trust that God is at work in this situation. May His will be done, and may He grant you both peace and favor during this time.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
