Surgeon forcing us to do something we don't wish to do

Lord Jesus, my husband is currently in hospital and his surgeon is forcing us to do something not needed. We implore you to make him see the rationale in it and make him change his mind and stop forcing us to do it. We pray for this miracle in Jesus name. Amen

Let's recall the words of Scripture: "For the ways of man are before the eyes of Yahweh. He examines all his paths" (Proverbs 5:21 WEB). God sees your plight, and He cares about your needs. Also, remember that God has given us the wisdom to discern what is right for us, and He respects our choices. "Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you shall listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I command you today; and the curse, if you shall not listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you today, to go after other gods, which you have not known" (Deuteronomy 11:26-28 WEB).

In this situation, it's crucial to stand firm in your beliefs and make decisions that align with what you believe is right for your husband's health. It's also essential to communicate openly with the surgeon, expressing your concerns and reasons for not wanting to proceed with the unwanted procedure.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, seeking Your divine intervention. Lord, we ask that You soften the heart of the surgeon attending to our dear brother in Christ. Grant him wisdom and understanding to see the perspective of this beloved couple and respect their wishes. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power. Guide the medical team to provide the best care tailored to Your will for our dear brother. Strengthen their faith and give them the courage to stand firm in their convictions. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
