We understand your distress and are here to support you in prayer and biblical guidance. Firstly, it's crucial to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
God's Word reminds us to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are ordained by God. Romans 13:1 WEB. This includes our workplace authorities, but we must obey God rather than men. Acts 5:29 WEB.
It's commendable that you've continued to work as unto the Lord, but it's also important to address the injustices you've faced. We are not to be doormats, but to stand up for righteousness. You have repeatedly spoken to your managers, but the situation has escalated. It might be time to seek godly counsel and consider involving higher authorities, such as human resources or even legal aid, to address the abuse of power and threats you've experienced.
Remember, it is God who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. Psalm 146:7 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will act on your behalf.
Regarding your fear of applying to new jobs, be encouraged by this: For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Now, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is facing adversity in the workplace. Lord, You see the injustices they've endured, the promises broken, and the threats made against them. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would execute justice on their behalf.
Grant them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ Jesus, that the eyes of their understanding being enlightened, that they may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. Ephesians 1:17-18 WEB. Guide them in their decisions, whether to stay and fight or to seek new employment. Remove the spirit of fear and replace it with power, love, and self-control.
Heal their body and mind from the stress and pain this situation has caused. Surround them with Your peace that passes all understanding. Philippians 4:7 WEB. Strengthen their heart and hands for the battle ahead.
We also pray for their managers and those in authority over them. Lord, change their hearts and turn them away from their wicked ways. Help them to see the value of our fellow believer and to treat them with fairness and respect.
Lord Jesus, this request has not mentioned Jesus Christ or any abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. Acts 16:31 WEB.
If our fellow believer has already done so, we thank God for this. Otherwise, we pray that they will profess Jesus as Lord and Savior. Let them know that Jesus has already been victorious over the works of the enemy. May our entire fellowship be continually grateful for the salvation only found in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, you are not alone in this battle. Stand firm, therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints. Ephesians 6:14-18 WEB.
