Steven, have you forgotten there IS a fallen angel commonly called "our adversary," "the devil." "the serpent of old who deceives the whole world." and other infamous titles by even Jesus Himself? The verse implies that the devil IS the author of confusion? I don't usually quote Mick Jagger, but the he accurately says,
