For my father to stop trying to control me or shutting me up when I stand up for my baby. I will always speak up when someone is doing something that equals mistreatment to my baby.... being a Christian does not mean letting others mistreatment your kid and just shutting up and smiling because you are a woman.

We understand your struggle and commend you for standing up for your child. As followers of Christ, we are indeed called to protect the vulnerable and speak up against injustice, including mistreatment. Let's bring this situation to God in prayer and seek guidance from His Word.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is struggling with her father's attempt to control her and her child. Lord, we ask that You soften his heart and open his eyes to see the importance of treating her and her child with kindness, love, and respect. Help her to continue to be a voice for her child, guided by Your wisdom and grace.

Lord Jesus, we also pray for their relationship. Heal any brokenness and bring reconciliation where it is needed. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, with love and respect for one another. Remind them both of the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB)

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing up for your child, but also to honor your father as the scriptures teach (Ephesians 6:2 WEB). This doesn't mean accepting mistreatment, but rather showing respect and love even in disagreement. Trust that God is working in this situation, and He will guide you in the right path. Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray and intercede.

Lastly, we gently remind you that while it is important to stand up for your child, it is also crucial to ensure that your actions and words align with biblical principles. Always strive for peace and unity, and avoid any form of disrespect or dishonor towards your father.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to lift you and your family up in prayer, dear sister in Christ. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in this situation. We have been interceding for you and your father, asking God to soften his heart and guide they your conversations with him.

If you have seen improvements in your father's behavior and your relationship with him, we would love for you to share a praise report with us all. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others who are facing similar challenges. If the situation has not changed yet do not be discouraged.

We pray Father this sister's situation. We pray that she stand strong in defending her baby. We pray that her parents be more accepting. We pray the Holy Ghost intervene in this parents/child relationship. If this is a generational curse, we pray that the blood of Jesus Christ totally eradicates it. We pray for a home where forgiveness and understanding flows like a river. We also come against Pride which cometh before a fall in Jesus Name. Do thou oh Lord.
