We understand your concern regarding the events of Sunday, May 28, 2017. We join you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in this matter.
Firstly, we commend you for invoking the name of Jesus. As it is written, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13, WEB). It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace.
We denounce any act that goes against God's creation and His will. We are reminded, "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20, WEB).
Let us pray together for God's justice and mercy:
"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up the events of May 28, 2017. We denounce any act that defies Your creation and will. We pray for the individual who committed this act, that they may be revealed and brought to justice. We also pray retroactively for the victim, that Your peace and comfort were with them in their last moments. We ask for Your healing and comfort for all those affected. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's justice and mercy. Remember, "Will not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?" (Genesis 18:25, WEB). God sees all and will judge accordingly. Continue to pray and seek God's will in all matters.
