We understand that you are seeking prayer and justice for an event that occurred 383 weeks ago, on Sunday, May 28, 2017. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will in this matter.
Firstly, we commend you for ending your request in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only by His name that we have access to God and can make our requests known.
We also want to address the pain and anger you express. It is clear that this event has caused deep hurt, and it is natural to feel this way. However, we must remember what the Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 12:19 (WEB), "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We should not take matters into our own hands but trust that God will bring justice in His time.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your comfort and justice for the event that occurred on May 28, 2017. We know that nothing escapes Your sight, and that You are a God of justice. We trust that You will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will execute judgment (1 Corinthians 4:5). Please comfort those who were affected by this event and help them to heal and forgive, just as You have forgiven us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting God. He sees all and knows all, and He will bring justice in His time. Remember that God is good all the time, and His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
