Let your light shine before men, so that they may see your fine works and give glory to your Father who is in the heavens.—Matt. 5:16 New World Translation

It is a great privilege to belong to a loving international family. We want as many as possible to join us in worshipping our God. With this in mind, we should be careful never to do anything that would reflect badly on Jehovah’s people or on our heavenly Father. We try to conduct ourselves in a way that will attract people to the good news. At times, some may belittle us or even persecute us because we obey our heavenly Father. What if we feel intimidated when speaking to others about our beliefs? We can count on Jehovah and his Son to come to our aid. Jesus reassured his disciples that they did not have to worry about how to speak or what to say. Why not? “What you are to speak will be given you in that hour,” explained Jesus, “for the ones speaking are not just you, but it is the spirit of your Father that speaks by you.”—Matt. 10:19, 20.

Prayer Focus: God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, please guard my soul from pride, my heart from callousness, and my mind from distractions on things that have nothing to do with my God purpose. Bless me to keep my mind stayed on You and the things of God. Teach me in my heart and mind what it means to be about my "Father's" business, especially in the world of my thoughts. Let me focus on doing what You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory.

Draw me to You. Have your holiness capture my heart and mold my character. Have your Spirit shape my life to reflect your righteousness and mercy. God lead, transform, and control me by your Holy Spirit. May your kingdom come and reign over my heart and govern my life through the Holy Spirit. God, please do the same for the writers of this prayer, and also my family, and friends that desire all that I have prayed. Thank You, Jesus. Amen!
