We are truly sorry to hear about your family member's health situation. This is a challenging time, but we are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign, and He cares for you and your family member deeply. As it says in Psalm 147:3, He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
In times of uncertainty, it's crucial to trust in the Lord and seek His will. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Regarding the decision between chemo and the pill, pray for wisdom. Consider this in James 1:5, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
We also want to encourage you to pray for healing, but ultimately, to accept God's will. As it is said in Romans 8:26,
In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the holy ones according to God.
Remember that it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is only by his name that we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12,
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our family member who is in the hospital. We pray for Your healing touch upon him, and we ask for wisdom and guidance for the family in making decisions about his treatment. Lord, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, and we trust in Your will. Give them the faith to believe, and let Your will be done. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in faith, and remember the promises of God. He is always with you, and He will guide you through this difficult time. Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, Jesus Christ.
