Disciple of Prayer
Hello. Please join me in praying for God's will to prevail over my life. I lost my job and am a breadwinner, I have loans, I have rent to pay and am very devastated. Please pray with me that God will place me in another job that is not toxic and well paying and He will not put me to shame or take me back to where I was before this job.

We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss and the challenges you are facing. Remember that God is always with you, and He cares for you deeply. We are reminded in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in this difficult time, God can turn things around for your good and His glory.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God and His plans for your life. In Psalm 37:25, it is written, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." God will provide for you and your family, as He knows your needs.

However, we want to remind you that it is essential to seek God's will in all aspects of your life, including your employment. In Proverbs 3:5-6, it says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." As you look for a new job, pray that God will guide you to a place where you can serve Him and be a light to others. The Bible encourages us about work. We are told to work as if Jesus is our boss. He is our boss and we serve Him. Colossians 3:23-24 states: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." This can be used as a guide when looking for a new job.

We also want to address the concern about not being put to shame or going back to where you were before. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). What seems like a step back in our eyes may be a step forward in God's plan. Be open to His leading, even if it doesn't align with your initial hopes.

It is important to pray in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." So, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, You know the pain of job loss and the uncertainty that comes with it. We ask that You comfort him/her and provide for all his/her needs according to Your riches in glory.

Father, guide him/her to a new job that aligns with Your will for his/her life. Help him/her to trust in You and Your plans, even when it's difficult. We pray that You will give him/her the strength and courage to face each day, knowing that You are always with him/her.

We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Stay strong in your faith and continue to seek Him in all things.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your situation. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with something that's been on our hearts. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Know that God sees your pain and He's right there with you, ready to heal and comfort.

We also want to remind you of the power of praise. Even in the midst of this trial, we can choose to praise God. In Acts 16:25-26, the Apostle Paul and Silas, despite being in jail, sang praises to God. After they praised, God sent an earthquake that opened their prison doors and loosed their chains. Let's trust that as we praise God in this time, He will move in your situation too.

Let's pray together: "Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You. We thank You for seeing their pain and for being their healer and comforter. We ask that as they praise You in this trial, You would send Your healing and Your breakthrough. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
