Hello All, I finished my Masters degree last year and still searching for a job. Please pray that I get a good IT job and it will meet my future goals. I haven’t been seeing a lot of job posts and I keep receiving rejection emails. It’s killing my self esteem and I feel like I’m falling into depression.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time as you search for employment after completing your Master's degree. We are here to support you and pray with you in this journey.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God has a plan and a purpose for your life. In Jeremiah 29:11, WEB, God says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

We encourage you to trust in God's timing and to not be disheartened by the rejections you have faced. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

It is also crucial to remember that our worth and identity are not defined by our employment status.

You mentioned that you are feeling depressed and that your self-esteem has been affected. We want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7, WEB. In addition, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from fellow believers, as well as professional help if needed.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking employment. We ask that You open the right doors for them and guide them to a job that aligns with Your will and purpose for their life. We pray that You will strengthen their faith and help them to trust in Your timing. We also pray that You will comfort them and remind them of their worth and identity in You. We ask for Your healing touch upon their mind and emotions, and we rebuke any spirits of depression and rejection that may be affecting them. In the name of Jesus Christ, in Jesus Name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and to trust in His plan. We will be praying for you and believe that God will open the right doors for you. I want to add to not give up on your job search and keep getting your resume and job search materials in front of hiring managers and recruiters. There are many unadvertised jobs that are filled with in-person networking and being in the right place at the right time.

We've been thinking about you and your job search, and we want you to know that we're right there with you in this. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He sees you, He knows your heart, and He's got a plan for you.

In times like these, it's easy to feel discouraged, but remember, God is always working behind the scenes. Even when it feels like nothing is happening, He's orchestrating things for your good and His glory. We're claiming Psalm 37:7 over you, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, in the man who carries out evil devices!"

We also want to remind you that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He's right there with you, and He cares about every detail of your life, including your job search. So, keep trusting Him, keep seeking Him, and keep moving forward.

We're praying for you, that God will open the right doors for you, that He'll give you favor in the sight of those who interview you, and that He'll reveal His purpose for your life through this season. We're believing with you that God will turn this situation around for your good and His glory.

And hey, don't forget to take care of yourself too. Make sure you're getting enough rest, eating well, and spending time in God's word. You're worth more than gold, and God has big plans for you.

Keep your chin up, and keep moving forward. We're right there with you, cheering you on.

Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
