Beloved of All
I'm truly sorry to hear about what you're going through. It's understandable to feel overwhelmed and question why you're facing such challenges. Remember, it's okay to feel this way, and reaching out for support is a positive step.

In times of difficulty, it can be helpful to focus on small steps and seek support from trusted friends, family, or professionals who can provide guidance and comfort. Many people find solace in their faith community, where they can share their burdens and receive encouragement.

It's important to remember that suffering is a part of the human experience, and it doesn't mean you're being punished. Sometimes, life's challenges can be opportunities for growth and resilience, even though it may not feel that way in the moment.

Consider reaching out to a mental health professional who can help you navigate your feelings and develop coping strategies. They can provide support and help you find ways to manage stress and anxiety.

You're not alone, and there are people who care about you and want to help. Please take care of yourself and seek the support you need.

We understand your distress and we want to lift you up in prayer and encouragement. Firstly, let's address your feelings of punishment. Remember, God is not punishing you. In John 10:10, Jesus says, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." The enemy may be causing distress, but God desires to give you abundant life.

In times of struggle, it's important to persist in prayer. Jesus taught a parable in Luke 18:1-8 about a persistent widow, showing us that we should always pray and not give up. Your prayers are not wasted; God hears you. "Before they call, I will answer; while they are yet speaking, I will hear." (Isaiah 65:24)

Regarding your relationship, we must address that any form of abuse is not God's will. God calls us to love one another as He loves us (John 13:34). We strongly encourage you to seek godly counsel and support to help you safely navigate this situation. The Bible advises us to flee from evil (1 Corinthians 6:18), and abuse is evil.

About your job search, trust that God has a plan. Psalm 37:5 says, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." He knows your needs and will provide in His perfect timing.

Concerning your child, continue to pray and demonstrate Christ's love. Remember, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

Finally, you asked why suffering is allowed. Romans 5:3-4 tells us, "We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Suffering can strengthen our faith and draw us closer to God.

Let us pray:

Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your comfort and provision for ###. Help them find a job according to Your will. Protect and guide them out of the abusive relationship. Soften their child's heart and turn it towards them. Ease their stress and anxiety, and help them sleep peacefully. Strengthen their faith and help them understand Your purpose in their suffering. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, friend, feeling your burden. It's like you're carrying a heavy backpack, and we want to help you unload some of that weight. First off, remember, God isn't punishing you. He's not the one causing this distress. The enemy is, but God wants to give you abundant life, not this heavy load you're carrying.

We know it's tough, and it feels like nothing's changing, but keep praying. Jesus told us to be persistent, like the widow in Luke 18. Keep knocking, keep asking, keep seeking. God hears you, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. He's there, listening.

Now, about your relationship, we need to talk about that. Any form of abuse isn't right, and it's not what God wants for you. You deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. We urge you, please seek help. Flee from evil, as the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:18. You don't deserve to be hurt like this.

And your job search, trust that God has a plan. He sees your needs, and He'll provide in His perfect timing. Psalm 37:5 tells us to commit our ways to the Lord and trust Him. He's got this.

Your child is going through a tough time too, but keep praying and showing them love. Proverbs 22:6 tells us to train up a child in the way they should go, and even when they're old, they won't depart from it. Keep planting those seeds of love and kindness.

Lastly, why does suffering happen? Romans 5:3-4 tells us that suffering produces perseverance, character, and hope. It can strengthen our faith and draw us closer to God. It's not fun, but it's a part of life that can make us stronger.

So, let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today for our friend. We ask for Your comfort and provision. Help them find a job according to Your will. Protect them and guide them out of this abusive relationship. Soften their child's heart and bring them closer. Ease their stress and anxiety, and help them sleep peacefully. Strengthen their faith and help them understand Your purpose in their suffering. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

So basically keep praying for nothing because nothing is going to change? Suffering is allowed to make sure that u actually suffer? God wants to give me things but doesn’t because he wants me to suffer? Everything that you are saying is contradictory. I’ve been praying for years about emotional abuse & nothing has changed. I’ve been praying for a job for months and nothing has changed. What’s the point of praying of nothing ever happens? It clearly pleases God to see my troubles.

I understand your inner difficulties. Sometimes it's not about what we experience, but about changing our inner attitude in the light of that experience, accepting whatever we feel/experience, surrendering to the Lord, despite difficulties.

I know it may be hard, but sometimes it's better to just sit in silence (silent prayer without words), calm ourselves and at the end pray for happiness of other people, that they may be released from stress and suffering, in the name of the Adonai Yeshua (Lord Jesus).

"Whatever you need, pray for this for your neighbour" - this is an important principle.

In my opinion, we should always include other people in prayer, not praying for ourselves alone or only our close relatives, because in this way we become too self-focused, but to allow ourselves to go beyond that, to see the greater picture, opening our heart for the needs of others, there are so many suffering people around. In this way we don't focus so much about ourselves, and our own suffering, but we do something for other people or at least aspire to do that with God's help, because without Him we cannot do anything.

The main purpose of prayer is not ourselves, but the Lord itself, our relationship with Him. Not only what we receive from Him, but also what we give Him (and our neighbour). What you give should be more important. Because every true relationship is a two-way road.

Also, we should not expect answers (for our prayers) in the way that we think the Lord should answer us, because if we trust Him completely, we should accept whatever comes.

Suffering, any suffering may be helpful if we surrender to the Lord, but it's possible only if we change our attitude towards Him. "Not my, but His will may be done" - this should be our attitude. Then suffering will be helpful in our inner transformation, it will be used (by the Lord) in the first way to change ourselves.

We should focus on Him alone, to please Him in our service, in our prayer, in every deed. In this way we will not be so much concerned about ourselves and our life, but we will be grateful that we are able to serve Him despite our difficulties, out of pure faith. In such a moment we can feel something precious, that our service doesn't depend on challenges and troubles, even if what we experience sometimes is really painful and overwhelming. But developing faith is necessary and what helps here is selfless service. Especially in praying, reading Scriptures, and doing good deeds we should have the intent to please the Lord. You don't expect anything in return, but you do something just because the Lord is great and you want to serve Him alone. In such a moment you know that the goal is in the act itself.

Even if you sometimes don't feel anything, any emotional reward, peace, joy, you still do that, because our love towards God should be unconditional.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
