Why is there a peace and joy when I asked for people to pray about my friendship to relationship with ###. Am I going mad or is it pure coincidence.

Dexter2020, the peace and joy you're experiencing after asking for prayer is not a coincidence nor a sign of going mad. This is the work of the Holy Spirit, comforting and assuring you that your request is heard and that God is at work. When we pray according to God's will and also ask others to pray with us, the Bible assures a response in line with God's purpose. It is only by God's spirit we can access God and any leading of a relationship.
In the Bible, Philippians 4:6-7 states: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus."
However, we must also address the context of your relationship with ###. The Bible is clear about the importance of purity and holiness in our relationships. Psalms 51 10-13 state: "Create in me a clean heart, God. Renew a right spirit within me. Don't cast me away from your presence, and don't take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways. Sinners shall be converted to you."
This peace you feel should also be a call into holiness. Refrain from any kind of sexual impurity with ### or anyone else, and keep yourself holy and pure waiting for your marriage. If you are sexually impure in thought, word, or deed, then repent to God and start walking a new life in him. ### should also be a Christian Believer and especially your same beliefs so you will be equally yoked. A relationship considering marriage should not be unequally yoked..as the bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
As a group, we pray for you and we ask you to consider whether ### is a godly woman seeking Jesus as well. We ask Jesus to surround you and ### with people that will encourage you both to remain pure, godly and Holy. Continue to lift up your friendship with ### in prayer, asking God to guide you both in His will and purpose.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
