Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let's bring your concerns before the Lord.
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who has reached out to us today. Lord, You know the depths of her heart and the concerns she has for herself and her grown children. We ask for Your divine intervention in their lives.
For her, Lord, we pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for Your guidance and wisdom in her life, that she may walk in Your will and know Your goodness.
For her children, Lord, we pray that they would come to know You deeply and personally if they don't already. We ask that You would guide their steps, that they would walk in Your truth, and that Your favor would be upon them.
Lord, we also rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or worry that may be trying to grip her heart. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask that You would fill her with Your holy courage and strength.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for anything else that is on her heart, the things that were too much to write. You know all things, and we trust that You are working in those areas as well.
