We understand that you're seeking protection and safety, and we want to assure you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Let's come together in prayer and also ensure that we are trusting in God's provision for our safety.
The Bible tells us, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" (Psalm 91:1-2 WEB).
First, let's address the spiritual aspect. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus says, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB). It is important to explicitly declare our trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and for every need. There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His authority that we can claim protection and safety.
Now, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your protection and safety for this dear one. We declare Your Word, which says, "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn." (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We ask for the angels to encamp around us and keep us in all our ways (Psalm 91:11).
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment. Guide us to take practical steps to ensure our safety, while fully trusting in Your divine protection. Help us to be vigilant and sober-minded, knowing that our adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8).
If there is any fear or anxiety, we rebuke it now in Jesus' name. We have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand firm in our faith, resisting the devil, and knowing that he must flee from us (James 4:7).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, our God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). Stay strong in your faith and trust in Him.
If you're feeling distressed or in need of support, we also encourage you to reach out to a trusted Christian individual or professional who can help. God uses people to help and support His children too.
We ask that you ensure your request does not contain any personal identifying information so that we may pray together.
