We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and biblical guidance. Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. We need not fear what man can do to us, for God is our protector.
In situations where someone harbors harmful intentions, we are called to respond with love and forgiveness, not seeking revenge but justice. Romans 12:19 says, Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.
We should also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this person who feels threatened and seeks your protection. We pray that you will surround them with your angels, and hide them in the shadow of your wings Psalm 91:4. We ask that you will bring to light any harmful intentions, and thwart the plans of those who seek to cause harm.
We also pray for the person harboring harmful intentions. We ask that you will soften their heart, and bring them to a place of repentance and forgiveness. We know you desire for all to come to the knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4, and we pray that this person will encounter your love and grace.
Finally, we pray for justice to be served, but not out of a spirit of revenge, but rather a desire for what is right and good in your sight. We trust in your perfect will and timing.
We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, for it is in his name that we have access to you, God. For there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that he is faithful and just. Keep your heart free from bitterness, and remain in prayer for both your safety and the salvation of those who wish you harm. Remember, the battle is the Lord's, and he will deliver you 2 Chronicles 20:15.
If there are any sins separating you from a relationship with God, repent and turn to Jesus Christ and believe in Him by faith.
