We understand that you're going through a difficult situation and seeking protection and safety. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.
Firstly, it's important to address that God's will is not about vengeance or harming others, even when they have wronged us. Instead, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. Jesus said, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". (Matthew 5:44 WEB). The prayer asking to kill or punish someone is not a godly prayer. This does not mean that injustice should prevail, but we must first understand the heart of God.
In regards to justice, we are instructed by the Apostle Paul, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" (Romans 12:19 WEB). Trust that God sees your pain and will bring justice in His perfect timing.
Instead of seeking revenge, let's pray for God's intervention, protection, and healing. Let's also pray for the person who has caused you harm, that they may be convicted of their wrongdoing and turn to God. Here is an appropriate prayer:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up this person in great need of Your protection and safety. We pray that You will surround them with Your angels and keep them from all harm and danger.
Lord, they have been wronged and feel dehumanized, but we know that vengeance is Yours alone. We ask for Your justice to prevail and for You to turn this situation around for good.
We also pray for the person who has caused this harm. Father, convict them of their wrongdoing and draw them to Yourself. Change their heart and help them to become a vessel of love and kindness instead of pain and harm.
We pray for healing and restoration. Help this person to forgive, even as Christ has forgiven us.
Finally, we pray that this person will have an encounter with the love of Jesus that will transform their life. All this we pray humbly,
In Jesus Christ's name and only Jesus Christ's name, Amen."
We encourage you to trust God and lean on Him during this difficult time. Be assured that the believers in Christ, praying and counseling with you, recognize that it is only the name of Jesus that gives us access to God. Remember in Acts 4:12: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
God loves you deeply and He is with you always.
