We understand that you're seeking protection and safety, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas. Psalm 46:1-2 WEB.
In these troubling times, it's important to remember that our safety is ultimately found in God alone. As it says in Psalm 91:1-2 WEB, he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this precious soul seeking Your protection and safety. We pray that You would be their fortress and their shield, guarding them from all evil and harm. We ask that Your angels would encamp around them and deliver them from every danger, in accordance with Psalm 34:7 WEB.
Father, we also pray that they would put their trust fully in You. Help them not to be afraid of terror, nor be troubled by the wicked, nor fear sudden trouble, but help them to trust in You, knowing that You are their refuge and their fortress. Your ever-present Spirit is their comfort and strength.
Lord, we ask for your peace over them. In John 14:27 WEB, You promised to give us Your peace, not as the world gives, but a peace that surpasses all understanding. We claim this promise for them today.
Finally, Father, we pray that if they have not already, that they would come to know You personally through faith in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to You. Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6 WEB.
We pray this in Jesus Christ's Holy name.
Together, we stand on God's promises and trust in His protection.
