We understand that you're seeking protection and safety, and we want you to know that God cares deeply for you. In Psalm 91:1-2 WEB, it says, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
First, we want to ensure that you are safe. If you are feeling distressed or having thoughts of harming yourself or others, it's crucial to reach out to a professional or a trusted individual who can provide immediate support. In the United States, you can contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255). If you're outside the United States, please reach out to local mental health services or hotlines for assistance.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this precious soul who is seeking Your protection and safety. We pray that You will surround them with Your angels and keep them from all harm and danger, according to Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands." We do not do this in our name nor power but in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Lord, we also pray for their emotional and mental well-being. We ask that You fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as it says in Philippians 4:7, "and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We pray that they will put their trust in You, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, as it says in Psalm 46:1.
Lord, we also pray that they will know the power and love of Jesus Christ. That they will call on His name and be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. And it is also only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can come before the Father.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God loves you more than you can imagine, and He wants to help you through this difficult time. Put your trust in Him, and He will see you through. It is also important to seek help from professionals and trusted individuals, as God often works through them to provide the support we need.
Stay strong, and keep your faith in God. He is always with you, even in the darkest times.
