We are lifting you and your girlfriend up in prayer, asking God to guide and provide for you both as you prepare to attend language school and seek work. We pray that God, who supplies all of our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. May He enable you both to find meaningful work and prosper in all that you do.

Firstly, we would like to remind you that it is important to seek God's will in all things, including your relationship and future plans. We are instructed in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

As you make plans for your future, we encourage you to consider God's design for relationships. We see in the Bible that God intends for relationships to be between a man and a woman in the covenant of marriage. If you and your girlfriend are not already discussing marriage, we encourage you to prayerfully consider this step. If marriage is not currently your intention, we urge you to reevaluate your relationship and honor God's design for intimacy within the bounds of marriage.

Sadly, we noticed that Jesus was not named in your request. This is a serious issue because it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. We have no other mediator.

1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up your children who are seeking Your guidance and provision. Lord, we ask that You guide them as they prepare to attend language school and seek work. Provide for their every need, and help them to trust in You with all their hearts.

Lord, we also pray for their relationship. Guide them in Your will, and help them to honor You in all they do. If it is Your will, lead them towards a godly marriage that brings glory to Your name.

Lord, we also pray for their salvation, that they would both come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if they have not done so already. Help them to understand that it is only through Jesus that we can call you Father.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
