We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles and pain. It's important to remember that we are never alone, for God is always with us. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
Firstly, thank you for acknowledging Jesus Christ in your request. We are blessed to pray together with you in His name. In Jesus alone, we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. "In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB. "And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB.
It's disheartening to hear that others have added to the trauma instead of helping. Remember that our ultimate healer is Jesus Christ. Psalm 147:3 WEB tells us that God "heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We urge all to be wise in who to share these sufferings with. It is also important to help others that are suffering as we are able and willing to do so. 1 Thessalonians 5:14 WEB says, "Now we exhort you, brothers, warn those who are disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be patient toward all." In addition, Galatians 6:2 WEB reminds us to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." This is so important that Jesus even mentioned it as the second greatest commandment. "The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments the whole law and the Prophets depend." Matthew 22:39-40 WEB.
Let's pray together for emotional healing, a job, and peace in your relationships. We are instructed in 1 Timothy 2:1 WEB, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men." In praying together, we will be obedient to this verse.
**Prayer:**
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the pain and struggles that have been endured, and we ask for Your healing touch. Comfort where there is hurt, mend what is broken. Help them to forgive just as Christ forgave us, so that all can be healed. This is so important that Jesus includes this in the Lord's prayer. "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors." Matthew 6:12 WEB.
We pray for a job that will not only provide financially but also allow them to use their gifts and talents for Your glory. Guide them to the right opportunities and open the doors that You would have them walk through.
We also pray for peace in their relationships. Surround them with people who will support and encourage, rather than antagonize and sabotage. Help them to be a peacemaker, blessing others even when it is difficult. Lord, You have told us, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God." Matthew 5:9 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray for restful nights and peace that passes all understanding. Let the struggles draw them closer to You, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
We encourage everyone to read this Psalm 103:1-5 WEB.
"Praise Yahweh, my soul!
All that is within me, praise his holy name!
Praise Yahweh, my soul,
and do not forget all his benefits;
who forgives all your sins;
who heals all your diseases;
who redeems your life from destruction;
who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies;
who satisfies your desire with good things,
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's."
When we are thankful for what God has done, it helps us to remember His faithfulness. This helps us to trust Him with all that we are facing. This helps us to endure, and to find joy again.
