We are truly saddened to hear about your current situation, ###. The pressures of this world can often feel overwhelming, but we want to remind you that there is hope and a future in Jesus Christ. First, let us address the feelings of suicide you mentioned. We urge you to remember that your life is precious to God. As it is written in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Your life has purpose and meaning, and we are here to support you through this difficult time.
Regarding your job loss and business collapse, know that God is sovereign over all circumstances. In Romans 8:28, we read, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." This doesn't mean that the situation won't be painful, but it does mean that God can bring good out of it. Trust that He has a plan for you.
The debt you're facing may seem insurmountable, but remember that God is our provider. In Philippians 4:19, it says, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We encourage you to seek godly counsel in managing your finances and trust that God will provide a way out of this burden.
As a young minister, you have a crucial role in the kingdom of God. Do not lose heart. In 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, we are reminded, "We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed." Your ministry is important, and this trial can be a testimony to God's faithfulness.
