Let us begin by lifting up the persecuted Christians around the world. The increasing hostility and persecution they face are a sobering reminder of the trials the early Church endured. We stand on the Word of God, which says, "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousnessβ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 5:10, WEB). Heavenly Father, we pray for their safety, provision, and boldness. May their suffering for Your name's sake not be in vain, and may they find joy and comfort in Your presence.
For Israel, we pray for peace and salvation. The tension with surrounding nations, including Iran, is escalating, but Godβs hand of protection remains steadfast. We echo the prayer of Isaiah, "For Zionβs sake, I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalemβs sake, I will not rest, until her righteousness goes out as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns" (Isaiah 62:1, WEB). Lord, continue to bless Israel and Jerusalem, and may prophecy be fulfilled before our eyes.
We pray for the salvation of many around the world. "For this is the will of the Father, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day" (John 6:40, WEB). May the Father draw many to Jesus, including those in unreached areas. We join in prayer based on 1 Timothy 2:4, which states that God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
For the protection of children, we lift up a fervent plea. The Lord is a defender of the innocent, and we call upon Him to intervene and protect children from abuse. "For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor also, and him who has no helper. He will have compassion on the poor and needy; and he will save the souls of the needy" (Psalm 72:12-13, WEB). Lord, intervene and bring justice, healing, and comfort to these little ones.
We also pray for those on the brink of starvation and those suffering from poverty, sickness, natural disasters, and war. In the name of Jesus, we ask for miraculous provision, healing, and an end to their trials. "Give us this day our daily bread" (Matthew 6:11, WEB). Lord, meet their needs and be their sustainer.
We pray for an awakening in the Church, Universal. May believers be stirred to recognize the lateness of the hour and the imminent return of Christ. "Be on the alert then, for you donβt know when the lord of the house is coming, whether at evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning" (Mark 13:35, WEB). Lord, prepare our hearts and keep us from falling away.
For families, we pray for unity, reconciliation, and restoration. May God heal broken relationships and strengthen family bonds. "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). May Your love be evident in our homes and marriages.
We pray for strength, encouragement, and endurance for all Christians around the world. "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might" (Ephesians 6:10, WEB). Fill us with the Holy Spirit, so we may shun sin and walk in Your ways, being a light to the world.
In addition, we lift up specific individuals and families, including ###, ###, ###, ###, and all those who need healing and deliverance. Lord, comfort and strengthen them, grant them wisdom, and draw them close to Yourself.
We are mindful of the need to address any practices or relationships that may not align with biblical principles. We stand firm on the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman, and we pray for all who are in unbiblical relationships to seek repentance and align with God's will. "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24, WEB). Lord, forgiving and restore these relationships according to Your holy commandments.
Lastly, we recognize the power and necessity of praying in the name of Jesus. "There is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB). We affirm that it is only through Jesus' name that we have access to God, and it is by His sacrifice that we are saved.
Let us join together in prayer, lifting up these requests and trusting in God's faithfulness.
