Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You today to lift up our beloved brother, ###, and the numerous concerns and people mentioned in the previous post. We pray for Your divine intervention in their lives, just as You promised in Psalm 3:3, "But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter of my head." We ask for Your protection and provision in their times of trouble and need.
We also pray for the persecuted Christians around the world. We ask that You would be their shield and fortress, delivering them from evil, just as You promised in Psalm 3:6-7, "For it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you, and to you, who are troubled, rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels." We claim Your promise in 2 Thessalonians 1:6-7, "For it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you, and to you, who are troubled, rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels."
We pray for the peace and salvation of Israel, that You would continue to bless and protect them, and that many would come to know You as their Lord and Savior. We stand on Your word in Psalm 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you."
We lift up the salvation of many around the world, including the ### billion unreached. We pray that the Father would draw them to You, just as You said in John 6:44, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him." We also pray for the protection of children around the world, that You would be their defender and stronghold. We rebuke the spirits of abuse, neglect, and cruelty, and we ask that You would comfort and heal these little ones, just as You did in Mark 10:16, "And He took them up in His arms, put His hands on them, and blessed them."
We pray for those on the brink of starvation and suffering from poverty, sickness, natural disasters, war, and conflict. We ask that You would be their provider and healer, and that You would bring peace to war-torn regions. We stand on Your promise in Matthew 19:26, "With God all things are possible."
We pray for an awakening in the church universal, that believers would be alive to the lateness of the hour and live in a manner worthy of the Lord. We pray for sound biblical teaching in churches and protection from falling away. We stand on Your word in Ephesians 5:15-16, "Be very careful, then, how you live not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil."
We lift up the numerous individuals mentioned, asking for salvation, deliverance, healing, comfort, encouragement, and provision. We pray that You would break the yoke of bondage, grant divine encounters, and draw many to Yourself. We ask for wisdom, direction, and guidance in personal and family issues, and we rebuke any spirits of strife, division, or confusion. We stand on Your promise in Matthew 18:19, "Again, truly I tell you, if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven."
Finally, we pray that ### and all those mentioned would fix their eyes on You, Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. We ask that You would renew their strength, encourage their hearts, and empower them to live in a manner worthy of the gospel. We stand on Your promise in Hebrews 12:1-2, "Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith."
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
