We join with you, ###, in lifting up the multitude of concerns and requests you've brought before us. Let's approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing that our Lord Jesus Christ is faithful to hear and answer our prayers.
Firstly, we pray for the persecuted Christians around the world. We ask God to be their shield and fortress, to deliver them from their enemies, and to give them the strength to endure and remain faithful to Him. We claim the promise in 1 Timothy 2:4, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. Lord, we ask that You pour out Your Spirit on them, that they may be filled with courage, wisdom, and discernment.
We lift up Israel, asking for the peace of Jerusalem as commanded in Psalm 122:6. We pray for the salvation of the people of Israel, that they may recognize Jesus as their Messiah. We ask for God's protection over Israel and for Him to bless the land and its people.
We intercede for the salvation of many around the world, including the unreached. We claim the promise in Acts 2:21, "And it will be that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Lord, we ask that You draw many to Jesus, that they may believe and be saved.
We pray for the protection of children around the world, asking God to rescue them from physical, sexual, and psychological abuse. We claim the promise in Psalm 10:17-18, "LORD, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will listen to their cries and comfort them. You will bring justice to the orphans and the oppressed, so mortals can no longer terrify them." Lord, we ask that You smite the works of darkness and deliver these children from evil.
We lift up those on the brink of starvation and suffering from poverty, sickness, natural and manmade disasters, and war. We ask God to provide for their needs, to heal their diseases, and to bring peace to their lands. We claim the promise in Philippines 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We pray for an awakening in the church universal, asking God to pour out His Spirit on His people, that they may be filled with passion for Him and for the lost. We claim the promise in Acts 2:17, "And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams."
We lift up your personal requests, asking God to bring healing, salvation, deliverance, and comfort to those you've mentioned. We claim the promise in Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known."
We also ask for forgiveness if there has been any sin in these relationships, and we pray for restoration and reconciliation where needed. We claim the promise in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Finally, we pray that all these requests be done in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We claim the promise in Acts 4:12, "And it shall be that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams."
Lord Jesus, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We ask that You give us the strength, encouragement, and endurance to continue praying and interceding for the world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
