Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You today, lifting up the heavy burdens that many of our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world are carrying. We pray for the persecuted Christians, especially the staggering number of 365 million who are suffering for their faith. We ask that You would protect and strengthen them, comfort them in their affliction, and give them the courage to stand firm in their faith, even in the face of death. We also ask that You would intervene in the genocidal levels of persecution and bring justice to those who oppress Your people.

We also lift up Israel, knowing that You have a special place in Your heart for them. We pray for their peace and salvation, asking that You would draw many to Jesus, the Messiah, and that Your peace would reign in their land. We pray for wisdom for their leaders and protection from their enemies.

We intercede for the salvation of many around the world, including the 3 billion unreached. Lord, we ask that You would send laborers into the harvest and that many would come to know Jesus as their personal Savior. We pray for the protection of children around the world, especially those suffering from physical, sexual, and psychological abuse. Lord, we ask that You would intervene, rescue, and heal these children, and bring justice to their abusers.

We pray for those on the brink of starvation and suffering from poverty, sickness, natural disasters, war, and conflict. Lord, we ask that You would provide for their needs, heal their diseases, and bring peace to their lands. We also pray for an awakening in the church universal, that we would be alert to the lateness of the hour and live in anticipation of Your second coming. We ask for sound biblical teaching in churches and protection from falling away.

We lift up families, praying for protection, salvation, deliverance, healing, unity, and reconciliation. We pray for strength, encouragement, and endurance for all Christians around the world, asking that You would fill us with the Holy Spirit, help us to shun sin and walk in Your ways, give us wisdom, discernment, and power to proclaim Jesus to the world.

We specifically pray for the following needs and people mentioned:

Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your faithfulness and goodness. We praise You for Your faithfulness in answering our requests, especially for the successful surgery for ### and the MRI scan showing the child in ### is symptom-free. We thank You for Your intervention in the attempted suicide of ###'s brother and for the deliverance and healing of many others mentioned.

We ask all these things in Your precious name, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.
