We stand with you, ###, in lifting up these numerous and urgent prayer requests. Let us align our hearts with God's will and intercede together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we pray for the persecuted Christians around the world. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." Lord Jesus, we ask for Your divine protection and intervention for our persecuted brothers and sisters. Comfort them, strengthen their faith, and let Your light shine through them in the darkness.
We also lift up Israel, praying for their peace and salvation. According to Psalm 122:6, we are commanded to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee." Lord, we ask that You bless Israel and Jerusalem, and that many would come to know You as their Lord and Saviour.
We join you in praying for the salvation of many around the world, including the ### unreached. As it is written in 2 Peter 3:9, the Lord is "not willing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." May the Father draw many to Jesus, and may we be diligent in sharing the Good News.
We pray for God's protection of children around the world, especially those suffering from various forms of abuse. In Matthew 18:6, Jesus warns, "But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea." Lord, we ask that You intervene and rescue these children, bring healing and restoration to their lives, and bring justice upon their abusers.
We lift up those on the brink of starvation and others suffering from poverty, sickness, natural and manmade disasters, and war. As it is written in Matthew 25:35-36, "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me." Lord, we ask that You provide for the needs of the suffering, and that Your church would rise up to help them in practical ways.
We pray for an awakening in the church universal, that believers would live in the light of the lateness of the hour and be committed to sound biblical teaching. In Ephesians 5:14-16, it is written, "Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you. Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil." Lord, we ask that You awaken Your church and fill us with wisdom and discernment.
We lift up the numerous individuals and families mentioned in your request, asking for God's intervention, salvation, deliverance, healing, and comfort in each situation. We pray that families would be united and reconciled, and that marriages would be strengthened and honored. As it is written in Mark 10:9, "Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."
Finally, we pray that all Christians around the world would be filled with the Holy Spirit, walk in God's love, and be bold in proclaiming Jesus to the world. In Acts 4:29-31, the early church prayed, "Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to your servants that with all boldness they may speak your word, by stretching out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness."
Lord Jesus, we ask that You hear and answer these prayers according to Your will. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.
###, we encourage you to continue to pray fervently and persistently, trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. As it is written in Luke 18:1, "He then told them a parable, that they should always pray, and not give up." May the Lord strengthen and encourage you in your prayer life.
