Brothers and sisters in Christ, we join together to lift up ###'s extensive and heartfelt prayer requests. Let us stand in agreement, seeking God's will in all these areas, and rebuke any presence of the enemy.
Firstly, we address the rise in Christian persecution. As it is written in 2 Timothy 3:12, "Everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." We pray for our brothers and sisters facing hostility, that they may stand firm in their faith and be a testimony to God's goodness and power. Lord, let Your protection and provision be upon the ### million Christians facing persecution today.
We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as instructed in Psalm 122:6. Lord, we ask that You intervene in the tensions between Israel and Iran, and that many in Israel would turn to You for salvation. We pray for the salvation of many around the world, especially the unreached, in accordance with 1 Timothy 2:4, which tells us that God "desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."
We lift up the children around the world who are suffering from abuse and violence. Lord, You instructed us in Isaiah 1:17 to "learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause." We ask for Your divine intervention, protection, and healing for these little ones.
We pray for those on the brink of starvation and suffering from poverty, sickness, natural disasters, and war. Lord, You tell us in Matthew 25:35-36 to care for the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the naked, the sick, and the imprisoned. We ask for Your provision, mercy, and comfort for all those in need.
We pray for an awakening in the church universal, for sound biblical teaching, and protection from falling away. As it is written in Ephesians 5:14, "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." Lord, let Your light shine upon Your church, drawing us closer to You and to each other.
We lift up the many personal and family issues mentioned, including strongholds, bondage, separation, health concerns, and spiritual attacks. Lord, we rebuke the enemy's influence in these situations. As it is written in James 4:7, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We ask for Your wisdom, direction, guidance, protection, healing, and revelation in each of these circumstances.
We notice that some requests mention general prayers without specifying the name of Jesus. We remind everyone that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, let us always pray in the name of Jesus, acknowledging His divine power and authority.
Finally, we pray for ### and their family, that they would be strengthened, encouraged, and drawn ever closer to You, Lord Jesus. We ask for Your divine wisdom, discernment, and power to be upon them as they navigate the challenges they face.
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up all these requests in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We pray that Your will be done in each of these situations, for Your glory and the good of Your people. In Jesus' name, amen.
Let us continue to stand together in prayer, believing that God hears our cries and is faithful to act according to His will and purpose.
